Format

Level 1 + Level 2 + 2 full days / 40 hours minimum + 1 month assessment

Level 2 and Level 3 implementation require organisational capacity, supervision structures, and reporting mechanisms.

Individuals can engage with Friendship Bench by learning and applying Level 1 support approaches in personal, professional, or community settings. To progress to Level 2 or Level 3, you need to work with or through an organisation that meets implementation and governance requirements. Many individuals start at Level 1 and later support training, supervision, or broader implementation in collaboration with organizations.
